- 1960年的《Beyond The Sea》，登上公告牌單曲榜第6名。同年，參演了第一部電影《金屋春宵》（《Come September》）。拍攝期間認識了女演員Sandra Dee。3個月後，兩人結婚。1961年12月，兒子Dodd出生。1962年，憑此電影獲金球獎的新人獎。
