創作背景

黃子弘凡的首支個人單曲《Waking Now》在他21歲生日之際上線，是他在音樂道路上沉澱後的“喚醒”之作，是一場屬於“20歲黃子弘凡”與“21歲黃子弘凡”的對話。20歲的黃子弘凡，在嘗試與探索中，經歷無數抉擇時的掙扎、未知時的畏懼、遇挫時的痛苦；而面對21歲，他期待一個全新的自己，將20歲的黃子弘凡喚醒、打碎、重塑。

這首歌唱給每一個曾對過去懷疑、對未來不確定的年輕人，更是唱出每一個年輕人想要追尋更好自己時的內心“覺醒”。
