Tommy Page本名Thomas Alden Page,1970年生於美國的新澤西州,1988年，正是憑藉一首A Shoulder To Cry On而走紅，成為著名的偶像派歌手，和當年的Glenn Medeiros齊名的美國少男歌星，尤其是這兩位歌手在台灣地區極其受歡迎，也多次來台灣地區舉行演唱會。同時tommy也曾與葉倩文等當紅華語歌手有過合作，他的歌亦被葉倩文、紅孩兒等人多次翻唱。

從業經歷
Thomas Alden Page 於1970 年5月24出生在美國新澤西。他八歲開始彈鋼琴，學到了12歲學習鍵盤年齡，與他的兄弟同組樂隊。高中畢業後, 他搬到紐約，在一個叫“nell's”的俱樂部擔任著裝檢查員。在這段時間裡，他在N.Y.U.學習經商，同時也創作和記錄了單曲《turn me on》，這支歌當時被全城的dj播放。一年後，tommy得到了一次機會，與麥當娜的創作人Mark Kamins,以及Sire Records唱片公司的高層Seymour Stein會面。這次會面促使tommy page在1988 年春天Sire Records唱片公司簽約。同年tommy在亞洲推出他的同名專輯，其中《a shoulder cry on》一曲在年輕人中引起轟動，成為傳唱度極高的作品，同時在北美引起關注。
運氣再次降臨。兩年後，當他遇到正當紅的組合New KIds On The Block 時 ，其成員Donnie Wahlberg 決定 "give T a number one song"。結果是，一首名為《I'll Be Your Everything》重磅降落billboard榜，這首單曲匯集了主唱tommy page，樂手Donnie Wahlberg,、Jordan Knight、 和Danny Wood。之後這首歌出現在tommy 的第二章專輯《Paintings in My Mind》上，不久後tommy出現在Joan Rivers和“Regis and Kathie Lee ”之類的脫口秀節目上，並占據各類青少年雜誌的封面，同時也他的世界巡演開始售票。緊接著華納兄弟因看重其才能，立刻將他送往製作人Mike Paley那裡，發布了新的聖誕單曲後，tommy的第三張專輯《from the heart》隨之出爐。當銷量達到滿盤紅時，tommy被他的美國唱片公司留下來了，他被公認為一個新的奇蹟。
而在日本，又是不同的情況。隨著tommy發布新歌和B版的同名專輯的主打歌曲《a friend to relay on》的超高點擊率，在加入亞洲Pony Canyon唱片公司之前，他陸續推出了兩張備受推崇的專輯：1994年的《Time》和1996年的《Loving You》。隨著《Loving You》專輯的發布日期臨近，tommy完成了他在紐約大學國際商業及市場學的學業，並在曼哈頓有了長久的家，同時在Pocconos, PE有了一個周末去所。這張專輯中的單曲《Loving You》在亞洲達到了一個喜人的銷量，但在日本90年代末經濟危機的壓力下，他的唱片公司被迫關閉僅僅留下一個辦公室，同時使得tommy的事業變得前途未卜。
在決定將他的職業生涯專注於培養其他的藝人之前，tommy發布了專輯《Ten Til Midnight in Spring of 2000》。據說，在完成每次錄音後，他都會背著他的隨身聽走在海灘上一遍一遍的聽，如果歌曲感動了他，才能經過考驗算作合格。儘管在美國只是紅了一時，但tommy仍然為自己做出了相當的成績，在12年裡發了7張專輯。
