《The Willies》是由Lee Townsend （Charlie Hunter、John Scofield）坐鎮製作，展現了Bill Frisell更具童心的一面： 除了自己手繪封面塗鴉之外，他找來德州藍調草根代表樂隊Bad Livers的主唱Danny Barnes來彈斑鳩琴，Keith Lowe這位跨爵士與藍調的傢伙來彈貝斯，組成Bill Frisell And The Willies，翻奏了鄉村樂組合The Carter Family等傳統曲目以及多數Bill Frisell的原創曲。
