作者簡介
莫德·彼得沙姆與米斯卡·彼得沙姆是一對夫妻檔插畫家。最開始，他們只為少數幾個作家畫插圖。1929年，他們合作著繪了第一本書《Miki》，這本書是關於他們的兒子的。1946年，他們又合作著繪了《公雞喔喔啼》，此書榮獲凱迪克金獎。夫婦二人經常前往荷蘭、德國和巴勒斯坦等地，為童書採風。他們與編輯合作密切，關於書的裝幀、布局、顏色、形式，甚至玩偶製作，編輯常會聽取他們的意見。他們的創作模式是由莫德負責寫故事、打草稿，然後由米斯卡完成製作——在醋酸酯中進行色彩分離，以及所有繁瑣的手工工作。
彼得沙姆夫婦已為孩子們創作了60多本書，並為其他作者的100多本書畫過插畫。
