作者簡介
凱文·林奇，任教於麻省理工學院建築學院三十年之久，他幫助建立了城市規劃系，並將之發展成為世界上最著名的建築學院之一。1988年，他的家人，朋友，同事為了紀念他，以他的名義設立了凱文·林奇獎學金，用以獎掖後進和資助建築學院的圖書館。
