那首《You Were The Last High 》是他們的代表作，在《情慾九歌》裡面，導演的把這首歌安排到影片的高潮，不僅是該電影的風格體現，這電影反而是對這首歌的體現。這首歌可以算《情慾九歌》的主題曲。

The Dandy Warhols從來不避諱展現Lou Reed與Ride對他們音樂的影響，師承The Velvet Underground，卻
發展出獨一無二的自信與衝勁，一組瘋狂卻沉穩，迷幻卻方向明確的傑出樂隊。 1992年The Dandy Warhols正式成軍於美國奧勒岡州的Portland，成員共有四位：主唱Courtney Taylor、鍵盤手Zia McCabe、吉它手Peter Holmstrom以及鼓手Eric Hedford，成立不久後他們很快就獲獨立廠牌TimKerr賞識並簽下一紙契約，散發耀眼光芒的他們沒有多久又轉進主流大廠，雖然沒有立即為唱片公司賺進大把鈔票，卻著樂評的高度評價和另類樂迷之間口耳相傳，創造了為數不少的死忠冬粉。之後樂隊陣容一度稍有變化，鼓手由Brent DeBoer取代。樂隊於2003年發表的第四張專輯Welcome to the Monkey House累積了至高的人氣與買氣，甚至連搖滾變色龍David Bowie都親自邀請他們擔任個人演唱會的開場樂隊。 而樂隊第五張全新錄音作品Odditorium or Warlords of Mars則是本年度繼The Warlocks新作SURGERY之後最讓人期待的迷魂奪魄鉅作。
