創作背景
2005年的春天，尼歐在紐約遇到了挪威的製作團隊Stargate（米可·S·埃里克森和托爾·埃里克·赫曼森）。尼歐發現他們製作的以R&B為主的背景音樂很適合他。於是，Stargate開始為尼歐的首張專輯寫歌，他們一共製作了六首歌，其中就有《So Sick》。Stargate負責歌曲的譜曲，尼歐負責歌曲的填詞。歌曲的創作靈感源自尼歐與前女友的分手。
