Paula was born in the Bronx, New York and currently lives in Manhattan with her husband and co-founder, Sandy Dekovnick, the company’s CEO. When taking breaks from product development for her collections, Paula enjoys having fun with her family and friends, watching movies, attending concerts and visiting museums in her beloved city of New York. She is personally dedicated to helping others by participating in two important non-profit organizations: Gilda’s Club based in New York City and the Wildlife Waystation, a rescue and reserve for animals based in California. It is the ultimate tribute to Paula that industry leaders know her collection of unique products “did not exist” until Paula created them.
