With the odds against him, Nana Ayenzu, the traditional ruler and principal opponent, decides to move with the crowd. The humor arising out of their human frailties as they pursue their daily activities can be entertaining, but the social cohesion, graceful dances, the elegant dresses, the memorable festivals alongside the rich metaphorical language make the satire a worthy introduction to African traditions.
