不管流行風尚如何變化，Lenny Kravitz自己的音樂風格幾乎一直沒有改變過。在他的大多數專輯當中，他做的都是以經典老搖滾融合老式節奏蘭調的音樂。當然，這張專輯也不例外。或許是看到了Led Zeppelin2007年的復出為經典老搖滾帶來了復興的希望，Lenny Kravitz的這張專輯依然高舉復古大旗，將懷舊之風進行到底。與四年前的《Baptism》相比，這張《It Is Time For A Love Revolution》整體的質量有了一定程度的提高。
