克里斯 吉爾是一名英國演員，他1981年出生於劍橋，在 漢普郡的首府溫徹斯特長大，他的家庭依舊居住在那裡。他最初想作為一名藝術家去追求自己的事業，直到一名戲劇老師鼓勵他在學校的《仲夏夜之夢》中扮演角色，從這以後他承認自己確實愛上了表演，隨後他戰勝了將近三千個申請吉爾福德演藝學校的人，獲得了在這個學校就讀的機會。畢業後的某些時候他會在皇家莎士比亞劇團做一名輪班演員，從這開始大家在英國電視，尤其是在《滑鐵盧路》中能常常見到他。
在2003年,克里斯也是一個吉爾福德路邊餐廳/酒吧的酒吧服務員。
他在英國廣播公司的電視連續劇《滑鐵盧路》中扮演Matt Wilding。
