半導體雷射器是由有源區增益部分激發發射光並輸出,當輸出光功率逐漸升高時,腔面區域吸收光,從而產生熱,並引發“熱失控” ,最終成為不可逆轉的光學破壞,即光學災變損傷(COD)。
