Jim Lugo began his musical career in Bethel Alaska . "We rented a hall for someting like $500 bucks, and since most of the town would come to the show we figured we'd make a bunch of money. However, the two local guys we hired to watch the door were related to most everyone in town so by the time the dust settled it ended up costing us about $150 dollars each to play the gig - but hey, I was in Rock n Roll." Says Jim.He rarely has to "pay to play" anymore and, in the years since, has gotten to play at some great venues as well as for some great events and shows. He has also earned a reputation as one of the best solo acts in Arizona. And though it took a while for Jim to be convinced that his music should be recorded, we think it was worth the wait.
