Antonio Davino, once a feared mafia enforcer, has turned his life around to become a successful poet. One day he is summoned by his mother who he has not seen for many years. On his visit, he learns that she is dying. But Antonio soon realizes that his mother has a secret plan for him, and that to stay in the family he must perform one last hit.
