早期生活

6歲的Abra Moore就曾經自己創作過音樂

10歲的時候住在紐約並學習鋼琴，之後她參加了一家小俱樂部，並跟隨著去沿著英國海岸和法國街頭做演出

19歲時，Abra Moore和朋友加入了Poi Dog Pondering樂隊

1988年跟隨樂隊搬到了洛杉磯

1992年又搬到了奧斯汀。不久，摩爾離開了樂隊開始追求獨唱生涯。

個人作品

1995年由Bohemia Beat公司發行首張EP an intimate folk-pop collection

1995年發行第一張個人專輯《Sing》。

1997年發行第二張專輯《Strangest Places》。專輯中的單曲“Four Leaf Clover”在美國Billboard Hot 100中拿下了第63名的成績。

1998年，Abra Moore被提名為葛萊美獎的最佳搖滾女歌手。在此期間，她的另一首歌曲“Trip On Love”被選為1999年的電影《Cruel Intentions》的原聲。

在為一系列電影原聲獻唱的同時，Abra Moore不辭辛苦的繼續錄製她的下張專輯《No Fear》。然而，創作的差異與公司的契約發生了衝突，Abra Moore毅然與公司解除了契約，更換了另外一家唱片公司。雖然J唱片公司推出了促銷副本，但她的新專輯還是被擱置了下來。後來大部分歌曲都略有改動，收錄在了2004年的專輯《Everything Changed》中。

Moore的最近一張專輯《On The Way》由Sarathan唱片公司在2007年6月12日發行。

在音樂生涯之外，Abra Moore也偶爾參與一些電影的工作，如1991年出演了電影《Slacker》中的角色。
