作為絲綢之路的主角，絲綢產品及其生產技術和藝術成為絲綢之路上重要的內容被傳播到世界各地，為東西方文明互鑒做出了貢獻。2018年，中國絲綢博物館舉辦了世界範圍內大規模的織機展覽“神機妙算——世界織機與織造藝術”。基於此，中國絲綢博物館館長趙豐聯合世界各地專家學者，詳細介紹展覽中十餘個國家的數十套種類各異的織機及豐富多樣的織物，展示織機及織物為東西方文明互鑒做出貢獻。
作者簡介
趙豐，中國絲綢博物館館長，研究員，中國紡織品鑑定保護中心主任，國家義物鑑定委員會委員，國際古代紡織品研究中心（CIETA）理事，東華大學（原中國紡織大學）教授、博士生導師，浙江理工大學（原浙江絲綢丁學院）教授、碩士生導師，十屆浙江省人大常委，十一屆全國人大代表。
