《電子電氣員英語聽力與會話》根據《中華人民共和國海船船員適任評估規範》（電子電氣員部分）中的“船舶電子電氣員英語聽力與會話”要求編寫，滿足STCW公約馬尼拉修正案的要求，適合於750kW及以上船舶電子電氣員適任證書培訓、考試使用，也可以作為海事本科院校與專科院校的教學用書。按照《中華人民共和國海船船員適任評估規範》（電子電氣員部分）中的“船舶電子電氣員英語聽力與會話”要求，該書分四個模組，共24課，基本上遵照的原則是每一個要求知識點一課。第一模組：船舶電子電氣員日常生活用語；第二模組：船舶電子電氣設備日常管理；第三模組：業務聯繫標準英語聽力理解；第四模組：法律、法規及國際公約方面標準英語。
