Body long; head large, elongate; mandibles moderate in size, narrow; clypeus nearly trapezoidal; eyes large, lateral. Pronotum narrow, sides slightly arcuate; anterior angles rounded and posterior blunt; a longitudinal ridge in the middle reaching anterior and posterior borders. Elytra with bases equal to posterior border of pronotum in width; lateral margin strongly acute, 8 longitudinal striae on the surface of elytron. Fore coxae rounded, moderate in size; middle coxae rounded, a little larger than fore; hind transverse. Abdomen covered by elytra, short.
