鐘楊，美國肯塔基大學博士，上海交通大學國際與公共事務學院致遠講席教授，1960年生於北京。

人物經歷
1983年獲得北京國際關係學院英國文學學士學位， 1985年獲得國際關係學院國際政治碩士學位，1987獲得美國阿克隆大學政治學碩士，1992年獲得美國肯塔基大學政治學博 士學位，並與1991年起任教於美國田納西大學政治學系。
曾任田納西大學國際教育處處長，田納西大學中國中心主任，田納西大學 政治學系副主任。鐘楊教授還在2006年三月被全國政協選為全球27個海外特邀代表之一，參加全國政協第十屆四次會議。是中國國家教育部長江學者特聘教授，上海交大民意與輿情調查中心執行主任，田納西大學政治學終身教授、武漢大學和四川大學的客座教授。曾任美國中國政治研究會會長和Journal of Chinese Political Science的主編。
研究方向
比較政治學理論、政治文化和政治參與。
主要貢獻
鐘楊教授發表過兩部專著和五本合編學術著作，以及三十多篇學術文章。他的學術文章曾發表在美國一流政治學SSCI學術期刊上， 其中包括《Comparative Political Studies》（《比較政治學研究》）, 《Journal of Politics》（《政治學學刊》，《Political Research Quarterly》（政治研究季刊），《Asian Survey》（《亞洲研究》）和《Journal of Contemporary China》（《當代中國期刊》。
