作者簡介
凱倫·史密斯（Karen Smith），加拿大出生並長大。大學畢業後開始遊歷世界，在五個國家工作和生活過。在倫敦生活期間，她獲得TESOL（Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages）證書。後移居澳大利亞，在悉尼從事六年的國際學生英語教學，並加入澳大利亞國籍。
此後她回到加拿大，在位於北極圈的育空地區工作，擔任一家教育機構的經理，給成人講授英語閱讀與寫作。她還來到烏干達，做了八年的志願者，幫助當地婦女兒童接受教育。凱倫為中國讀者寫作了多部圖書，目前居住於加拿大西部美麗的海濱城市維多利亞。
