菲麗西提·霍夫曼

早年經歷

菲麗西提·霍夫曼1962年12月9日生於紐約，是家裡八個孩子中最小的一個，有一位兄長和六位姐妹。高中就讀於著名的密西根Interlochen 藝術學院，從紐約大學藝術戲劇專業畢業後在倫敦的皇家戲劇學院繼續進修了戲劇表演。

演藝經歷

菲麗西提早年多在百老匯和非百老匯舞台打拚並小有成就，曾替代麥當娜出演著名百老匯舞台劇《Speed-the-Plow》。但闖蕩好萊塢卻並不非常成功，多數出演電視劇為主，大銀幕上也只偶爾出演一些小配角，正如自己所言只一個自由演員經常會為下一個演出機會擔心。1998年主演了著名製作人Aaron Sokin的首部電視劇《體育之夜》，可惜此劇“紅顏薄命”，雖然評論家一致叫好但收視慘澹。此劇被砍後菲麗西提專注於和丈夫著名演員威廉H·梅西的感情生活，於2000年和2002年生下兩個女兒。夫妻兩人也多次在熒幕上合作。

但2004年運氣突然降臨到了頭上，菲利西提同時接到了兩部對其事業有著巨大影響的劇本----電視劇《絕望主婦》和電影《穿越美國》。隨著所主演電視劇《絕望主婦》大紅，菲利西提的藝術生涯也開始飛速上升。2005年她獲得艾美獎喜劇類劇集最佳女主角，在同年上映的電影《穿越美國》中無與倫比的出色演出為其贏得了多個電影節影后殊榮，以及2006年金球獎劇情片最佳女主角，電影獨立精神獎影后和奧斯卡影后提名。也因此成為幾位主婦中唯一一個成功進駐電影圈的演員，近幾年保持著拍攝《絕望主婦》之餘一年一部電影的成績。她也表示希望在“主婦”結束後重返紐約百老匯舞台。
