The Sinolingua Reading Tree series is a compilation of graded storybooks and is tailored for kindergarten aged children primary and secondary school students as well as bilingual learners in international schools. The starter level is intended for kindergarten aged children and focuses on games object identification and habit development without the requirement of vocabulary study aiming at heightening children’s interest in learning. The Reader’s Guide is also offered as supplementary material for teachers and parents to instruct their children how to read. As the authors of this series are all experienced teachers they have taken the difficult points students may encounter and the areas where students’ interest may be stimulated into full consideration during the compilation process. In this series the vocabulary becomes more and more difficult with every level. Each of the stories is engaging and illustrated with vivid images to facilitate readers’ understanding and interest.
作者簡介
Victor Siye Bao(鮑思冶)，從事對外漢語教學工作多年，先後在紐西蘭、中國大陸及香港、越南等地學校工作。出版過《我的中文小故事》《我的科學小故事》《中文遊戲大本營》和《為師有道》等圖書，除了從事教學工作，作為IGCSE和IB考官及workshop leader。熱衷對外漢語教師培訓工作並且深受同行歡迎。目前，在新加坡一所著名的國際學校任教。
Victor Siya Bao has been teaching Chinese for many years. He worked in schools in New Zealand, China’s Mainland, Hong Kong and Vietnam. He has published the following books: the My Little Chinese Book series, the My Science Book series, The Vault of Teaching Games and The Way of Teaching Chinese—How to be a Happy Teacher. Besides being a teacher, he also the examiner of IGCSE and IB and is the workshop leader as well. He is interested in teaching Chinese as a second language and popular amongst people in his profession. Now, he is a teacher in a famous international school in Singapore.
曾凡靜，從事對外漢語教學數年，曾在越南一所國際學校任教。出版過《我的中文小故事》《我的科學小故事》等圖書。目前供職於新加坡一所國際學校。
Zeng Fanjing, who has been teaching Chinese as a second language for many years, works in a international school in Singapore. She has published the My little Chinese Book series, the My Science Book series and so on.
