閔祖傳，男，1968年出生，1990年7月畢業於華東師範大學外語系，獲英語語言文學學士學位。2004年6月獲上海師範大學英語語言學碩士學位。
本科畢業後，一直在湖北汽車工業學院擔任英語教師。工作期間，歷任教研室副主任、教研室主任、外語系副主任。教學效果突出，獲優秀教師、優秀教師標兵等榮譽稱號，獲教學效果優質獎、教研成果獎等多種獎勵。
多年來在從事英語教學的同時，積極在語言學及教學領域從事科學研究，在各種學術刊物發表論文多篇並出版學術著作多部，研究領域涉及語言學、修辭學和教學領域。
