2004年獲得中科院化學所博士學位。
2004年8月---2006年3月，以日本振興協會特別研究員（JSPS）身份在早稻田大學納米研究中心工作。
2006年5月---2009年6月，在劍橋大學工作。
2009年6月---現在 哈工大微納米研究中心工作。
2009年入選教育部新世紀優秀人才。

論著成果
在納米材料的製備、納米器件及納米生物感測器等方面取得一系列研究成果，研究論文發表在《Journal of American Chemistry Society》、《Physical Review Letter》, 《Applied Physics Letter》, 《Chemical Communication》等國際著名期刊上。迄今發表SCI論文30多篇，發表論文他引用550次。已獲授權發明專利9項。
