內容簡介
該刊最早的刊名為《Abstracts of the Papers Printed in thePhilosophical Transactions》，以後還用過《Ab-stracts of the Papers Communicated to the Society》及《Proceedings of the Royal Society》等刊名.1905年(第76卷)起分為A,B兩輯出版，A輯為數學與物理科學.1969-1987年的刊名為《Proceedings ofthe Royal Society of London，Series A:Mathemati-cal & Physical Sciences》. 1988年起改稱現名，由不定期出版改為雙月刊，現為月刊.英國皇家學會編輯、出版、發行.刊載數學、套用數學、物理、力學、電子物理學及工程物理學等方面的研究論文.
