2003年本科畢業於重慶大學計算機系，2008年博士畢業於英國諾丁漢特倫特大學工程系並擔任兼職講師（2007-2008）， 之後在英國約克大學完成企業管理學博士後（2008-2009）， 並獲得英國女王大學終身教職講師、博士生導師（2009-2012）， 兼任女王大學管理學院下屬中國管理研究院院長（Director of China Management Research Institute）（2011-2012）。 2012年獲英國東安格利亞大學終身教職高級講師、博士生導師，2015年4月起受聘於英國諾森比亞大學紐卡斯爾商學院終身講席教授、博士生導師。其主持英國科學院， 英國教育委員會， 英國商務創新技能部， 中國國家自然科學基金等國家級項目多項，並參與數十項國際國內大項目的開發。 近5年30多篇研究成果發表於<European Journal of Operational Research>, <Journal of Operational Research Society>, <International Journal of Production Research>, <Production, Planning and Council>, <International Journal of Production Economics>等國際著名學術期刊及學術會議。
企業經歷
熊榆博士長期為大中型企業做諮詢， 其中世界第三大飛機製造商龐巴迪， 美國化工道氏集團， 全球領先軟體公司SAP，同時擔任重慶市國家高新區顧問， 建立重慶高新區國際科技園區， 擔任重慶國際投資諮詢公司董事會顧問。 由於其在企業運營與創新方面傑出成績， 熊榆博士被英國創新技能部任命為對華合作核心專家組成員， 為中英未來五年科技合作計畫提供決策諮詢。
