海弗格爾

海弗格爾（Frances Ridley Havergal，1836年12月14日 – 1879年6月3日）是一位英國聖詩作者。

簡介

她出生在伍斯特郡愛司特壘（Astley）一個聖公會家庭，父親威廉·亨利·海弗格爾（1793-1870）是當地的教區長，也是作家、作曲家和聖詩作者。

1852/3年，她在德國杜塞道夫求學。她出外旅行，特別是去瑞士

她在威爾斯的高爾半島 因腹膜炎去世。她的姐妹在她去世後將她大部分作品出版。在多倫多有一所以她命名的海弗格爾學院。
