個人履歷
1990在澳大利亞Modbury醫院完成住院醫訓練；1997年獲北歐最著名的瑞典隆德大學（Lund University）外科博士學位，師從歐洲科學院院士、國際肝膽胰外科協會主席Stig Bengmark和歐洲外科研究協會主席Bengt Jeppsson。1999年在美國哈佛大學完成博士後訓練，師從哈佛著名科學家Robert J. Smith；同時在美國麻省總醫院（MGH）腫瘤外科完成臨床培訓。
2001年獲美國“Li-foundation Heritage Prize”傑出成就獎，成為該年度生物醫學界唯一獲獎者；曾連續三次（第五、第六、第七屆）獲全國普外科中青年優秀論文一等獎，成為該獎項唯一一個連續三次獲一等獎者；從2000年至今多次獲北京協和醫院醫療成果獎和優秀論文獎。2010年和2011年又分別榮獲得衛生部第十屆醫藥衛生青年科技論壇一等獎、中國國家癌症中心研究論文一等獎，2014年獲中華醫學科技獎三等獎。主持美國CMB基金、參與國家863項目、國家科技支撐計畫課題及國家自然科學基金等多個項目。在國際、國內著名雜誌發表100餘篇論文，任國內11家核心雜誌的副主編和編委。有國家專利兩項。目前主持的“GP73肝癌早期診斷”和“GSA肝臟三維立體肝功能評估”的項目處國內領先、國際先進地位。榮獲2017年全國衛生計生系統先進工作者的榮譽。

2008年底隨中國南極科考隊前往南極探險。著有《冰雪世界的遠征》一書。
2013年在美國Xlibris出版社出版了《TheTop of the Bottom of the World》。
研究方向
1997年起在美國哈佛大學Joslin 研究中心做博士後研究，主要的方向是研究重症疾病、內毒素血症和激素的拮抗，激素的細胞內信號轉導、作用途徑及其調節因子等。並參與在國際上首先克隆了大鼠SOCS基因，多次在國際會議上發言。從1999年初起，在哈佛大學麻省總醫院（MGH）腫瘤外科（Surgical Oncology，全美同類科室連續三年排名第一）做臨床研究。曾被美國Li-Foundation Heritage Prize基金（California, USA）授於2000/2001年度的傑出成就獎，成為該年度生物醫學界唯一獲獎者。
1999年回國後，在中國醫學科學院，北京協和醫院外科從事臨床工作。主持多個臨床相關的科研項目，分別申請到國際國內研究基金數百萬，主要研究包括“肝癌早期診斷血清標記物GP73在臨床上的套用及其相關抗體的開發”和“新的肝功能評估方法：GSA三維立體肝功能現象技術”，達國際先進水平。分別獲國家癌症中心臨床科研一等獎，衛生部醫藥衛生青年科技論壇一等獎，2014年中華醫學科技獎三等獎第一完成人。
