主要貢獻
長期從事三七、燈盞花等藥用植物種質發掘方面的研究工作。主持國家重點研發計畫、國家支撐計畫、國家自然科學重點基金、國務院農改辦社會化服務體系改革試點等國家和省級重點項目20餘項。首次實現了重要藥用單體化合物燈盞乙素酵母發酵全合成,解析三七、燈盞花基因組,選育燈盞花、三七等14種重要藥用植物新品種51個,在Nature Communications、Molecular Plant等國內外刊物發表論文160多篇,出版專著和教材12部,獲雲南省科技進步二等獎1項、三等獎2項,雲南省自然科學三等獎1項。作為首席專家指導燈盞花、鐵皮石斛等建立GAP基地,獲國家中藥現代化科技產業基地建設十周年先進個人等榮譽稱號主持國家重點研發計畫。
