2017年9月29日,2017年度世界糧食獎在美國駐華大使館公布,中國農業大學資源與環境學院教授崔振嶺斬獲2017年的諾曼·博洛格實地研究與套用獎,成為我國第三位獲得該獎項的科學家。
此次“世界糧食獎”頒給崔振嶺,是因為他在研究及農業推廣項目中,通過創造性的田間化肥管理實現了土壤改良、糧食增產。他在與農民的密切合作中形成的創新方式提高了氮肥利用效率,使華北平原的小麥和玉米產量得以提高,同時遏制了土壤退化及水質污染。這一喇熱請創舉影響了千萬計的農民。
