研究領域（研究課題）
主要從事量子信息學，生物物理學和基本粒子與場論等領域的基礎理論研究。主持或參加完成國家自然科學基金、科技部重大項目以及教育部、中科院基金資助的多項科研項目，在磁單極理論，q-變形的諧振子系統的統計性質和對稱性的動力學破缺，量子資訊理論等研究領域取得較重要的研究成果。目前承擔國家自然科學基金：腦高級功能的量子機理，No.60472017，總經費23萬；基於腔QED的量子信息處理，No.10575017，總經費29萬。
指導碩、博士生研究方向
量子信息學，基本粒子與場論，生物物理。

科研成果及所受獎勵
從1992年開始享受政府特殊津貼，1989年被李政道先生組建的CCAST正規成員獲得義大利政府提供的的獎勵金4000 美元，1990年被評為大連市優秀科技工作者，1997年獲遼寧省教委科技進步二等獎一項，1999年獲寶鋼優秀教師獎。
