季芳芳，博士，助理研究員。2013年7月份於北京大學新聞與傳播學院獲得傳播學博士學位，並於2013年7月加入中國社會科學院新聞與傳播研究所。
主要探討問題包括：在國際傳播領域，如何理解“傳統文化”以及傳統文化在國家建設和對外交往中的角色；如何理解新的媒介技術變革；中非關係以及相關的傳播議題；全球媒介與傳播政策等。

I joined the Institute of Journalism and Communication at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in July, 2013 after I earned my PHD from School of Journalism and Communication at Peking University.
My research interests are international and intercultural communication with a current focus on new media and international communication, the discourse of “tradition” in intercultural communication, sino-African communication, and global media and communication policy(GMCP).
