《大學英語》是一套以全方位、立體化培養學生各項語言基礎能力為編寫目的的教材，是專業用途英語的*嘗試，適用於高等院校中外合作項目的本科生英語教學，也可用於有出國需求的碩士生參考用書或作為普通高校大學英語教學輔助用書。

《大學英語》共上下兩冊，本書為下冊。課文內容以科普性文章為主，側重學生的閱讀、翻譯與寫作能力的培養，同時補充美國文化常識，鞏固語法知識，提高寫作水平。本書內容共有16個單元，主要圍繞時間管理、人工智慧、共享經濟、電商平台、人臉識別、無人駕駛、4D列印等大學生感興趣的科技話題展開，使學生在語言知識學習的同時，了解當代科技成果，引發科技之後的思索，同時提升其人文素養。

本書每個單元主體內容包括五大板塊：文化之旅、綜合閱讀、口語交際、語法知識、寫作練習。每個單元的教學內容可在一周的教學時間內完成

作者簡介

代奎華，英語語言文學碩士研究生，副教授，山東農業大學外國語學院英語系主任。1989年6月畢業於山東省煙臺師範學院，英語教育方向，獲學士學位；2004年6月畢業於山東大學外國語學院，英語語言文學方向，獲碩士學位。2010年9月至2011年3月，赴美國加州大學伯克利分校英語系做訪問學者。工作至今，主要從事英語本科專業綜合英語、英語讀寫、英美文學、英語文體學、翻譯等基礎課和專業核心課的授課工作，以及英語系有關教學、科研、管理等工作。

從教以來，非常重視教學與科研的有效結合。主持並完成省教育廳項目一項（“生態批評視角下的柯爾律治”），參與省教育廳項目一項（“生態心理學理論指導下的十九、二十世紀英美詩歌研究”），在研外教社全國高校外語教學研究項目一項（“可供性理論視閾下的高校英語專業讀寫譯三位一體教學模式構建研究”），在研山東農業大學校級優勢研究領域培育項目一項（“文學景觀理論下的華茲華斯研究”）；2018年10月出版專著《西方文學翻譯理論多維視角探索》；即將出版譯著《詩意人生》。發表各級教科研論文數篇。

2017年成功申報山東農業大學校級教改項目一項，即“中英合作辦學基礎階段非專業英語課堂教學模式探究”，目前在編的將由化學工業出版社出版的上下冊《大學英語——中外合作辦學適用》正是在此基礎上展開的工作。本人長期從事英語專業教學，教學經驗豐富；同時擔任過山東農業大學外國語學院英語系負責承擔的學校中英合作辦學項目的大學一年級學生的基礎英語教師，對學校此項目人才培養的目標、學生本身的需求、以及現行基礎英語教材所存在的問題等有深刻的理解，因而萌生了聯合相關老師重新編寫更適合新時代中外合作辦學本科生基礎英語教材的想法，並付諸實施。
