清代首席監察官

呂琨 字瑤甫 號星石。清初山東文登縣呂家集人。1669年(康熙八年)中舉人。1682年(康熙二十一年)中進士,名列三甲第五十五名,最高官至監察御史(一品,清代首席監察官)。
呂琨為南寧縣知縣時,南寧縣剛經歷戰亂和水旱災害,民生凋敝、百姓窮困。呂琨到任後,粗茶淡飯,粗布衣衫,與百姓同甘共苦。在任五年,革除縣衙內陳規陋習,消除社會危害,南寧面貌煥然一新。
此後升任御史大夫,大膽向朝廷建言。後歷任通政司右通政史、監察御史。
呂琨著述較多,主要作品有《山東草》、《滇游草》、《燕邸草》。有《星石奏議》一卷。
呂琨的後裔有許多名人,以詩名聞於世居多。
