Once the photos are copied to the device the gallery can be quickly viewed much like a photo roll. There is no delay waiting for each photo to download as the photos have been downloaded during the synchronize step. Individual galleries are selected for synchronization, then during the actual synchronization step, only new or updated photos are copied to the device, saving time and network bandwidth. Not all of the galleries selected for download need to be synchronized during the synchronization step. For example it is quite simple to select a new gallery for download and then only synchronize that gallery, without spending time synchronizing other galleries that you know are already up to date. Photos can be automatically rotated to match the screen aspect ratio ensuring that they fill the screen to the fullest extent. Photos can also be zoomed to fill the screen so that there is no blank border area showing across the bottom or side of a photo.
