劉萬東(中國科學技術大學教授)

劉萬東,男,1960年9月生,安徽桐城人,理學博士、中國科學技術大學教授、博士生導師,近代物理系主任,《Plasma Science and Technology》雜誌編委,國家“973”項目總體組成員。長期從事聚變電漿物理、基礎電漿物理、電漿高技術套用領域的實驗研究。研究內容涉及波與電漿相互作用、磁化電漿中的微湍流與反常輸運、碰撞電漿電磁性質、電漿電磁器件、反場箍縮磁約束位形、電漿診斷技術諸方面。

人物經歷

1978年3月進入中國科學技術大學近代物理系學習,至1988年10月獲博士學位。
2009年1月-2014年8月,中國科學技術大學,物理學院,執行院長。
2001年-2008年,中國科學技術大學,近代物理系,系主任。
1996年-1997年,日本原子力研究所,訪問工作。
1995年-2001年,中國科學技術大學,電漿物理專業,主任。
1991年-1993年,法國原子能安全委員會,受控聚變研究,博士後。

研究方向

  1. 聚變電漿物理;
  2. 基礎電漿物理;
  3. 電漿高技術套用;
  4. 波與電漿相互作用;
  5. 磁化電漿中的微湍流與反常輸運;
  6. 碰撞電漿電磁性質;

  8. 電漿的雷射和微波診斷技術發展。

主要貢獻

多年來連續主持國家自然科學基金項目、國家安全重大基礎研究項目、中科院知識創新工程項目、國家磁約束核聚變能發展研究專項項目等重要科研項目,取得了多方面成果,累計發表文章逾百篇。始終靖心本科及研究生教學與人才培養事業,先後開設主講基礎與專業課程5門,已培養博士16名,碩士16名。
近年來,主持國家自然科學基金項目、“973”項目5項,院部級項目7項,主持經費總額近2000萬元。先後主講專業課程 2 門,基礎課程 3 門;已培養博士16名,碩士16名。
