2012年期間,成功破解前蘇聯數學家柯爾莫哥羅夫在上世紀30年代提出的關於譜問題的著名的70多年懸而不決的三個公開問題(非負逆特徵值問題,NIEPs)
2013年期間,成功破解文獻Zhan X. Extremal eigenvalues of real symmetric matrices with entries in an interval. SIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications, 2006;27(3):851–850同時在矩陣論專著(詹興致,
高等教育出版社,2008)中提出的兩個公開問題
2013年7月,受邀台灣大學交流訪問暨特邀參加第6屆
世界華人數學家大會並作代數學方向學術報告
2014年7月,受邀參加美國套用工程協會國際會議及
美國南加州大學交流訪問,並就特徵量問題作學術報告
