項目摘要
生物多樣性與生態系統功能之間的關係是當今生態學研究的前沿和熱點問題。生物多樣性增加有利於提高生態系統功能、生態服務和穩定性。但是,地下細根多樣性如何?對群落構建和生態系統功能(特別是生產力)產生怎樣的影響?影響的機制是什麼?這些問題均是亞熱帶森林地下生態過程研究的盲點。本項目利用DNA方法精確識別細根的樹種歸屬,在樹種水平(4個樹種構成多樣性梯度的林木叢實驗)和群落水平(1ha樣地)上,研究亞熱帶3種典型森林地下聚集細根的樹種組成、物種豐富度、功能特性及譜系多樣性,明晰地上樹種類型、地下物種豐富度、細根功能特性、譜繫結構等對細根產量的影響,解析選擇效應(樹種因素)和互補效應(空間分布、養分利用)對地下產量的作用,揭示亞熱帶森林中細根聚集和多樣性特徵對地下產量的調控機制,為亞熱帶森林生物多樣性保育、土壤養分維持和提高森林生產力提供理論依據。
