Academician Zheng Mianping has been working on salt lakes and ancient salt deposits for more than half century, and 《SALINE LAKES AND SALT BASIN DEPOSITS IN CHINA--SELECTED WORKS OF ZHENG MIANPING(英文版)》 is a selection of his works covering almost all the aspects in salt science. The 12th international conference, convened by Academician Zheng, will be held in China this year, and this book is written in English to serve reference for foreign colleagues who study salt lakes and salt bearing deposits.
